Participatory experience – 2025 – Aubagne, France
Over the course of a year, Marie Aymone Gerard engaged with local residents to collect
their visions and impressions regarding the evolution of the Huveaune River and its
surrounding territory. She conducted immersive walks along the riverbanks,
interviewed inhabitants, and collaborated with hydrologists and river technicians. This
research culminated in a sensitive, immersive walk for the community, co-organized
with the River Syndicate and the City of Aubagne, aimed at reconnecting residents
with the river and its biodiversity.
